    He lives in Merthyr doesn’t he? That’s local enough isn’t it? The rules are bullshit to be honest, if I go to my two local parks, Heath and roath, they are very busy. If I on the other hand drive for 10 mins in the car I can go to places where I grew up in the outskirts if cardiff and me and the kids won’t see hardly a soul and have a decent stomp.

    That's the opposite of Pen y Fan though there's thousands up there

    Still? Surely if you drive from say cardiff you would get a fine no?

    Police first line of identifying someone out of their area is the car number plate. And of course cars with english plates with canoes surf boards top boxes etc on the roof, lol. If he has a local number they probably wouldn't look at him twice whilst he was out. And of course he could always catch the T4 bus!
