    Re: US Protests

Curfew starts in an hour and the National guard and riot police increasing in numbers.
Could get interesting in the next 60 minutes or so.

That's what Trump would like to happen.

I should have put his name first as last. I can see why you might have thought what you did, so sorry as well

Even the head clown doesn’t like his own supporters?

    Re: US Protests

The frightening thing is 70m Americans voted for him. What a fecked up country.

It would give him the excuse to bring in the military. And no, his supporters are expendable so long as Trump and his family stay in power. At least Biden comes across as a peacemaker. Trump could yet be impeached, again.

I hope people realise this isn't a case of "you must accept the outcome of a democratic vote." These people have been deliberately misinformed including through use of conspiracy theories, deliberately fired up and then deliberately pointed in the direction of Washington.

    Re: US Protests

Thought Biden spoke really well in that speech, he genuinely seems gutted at what’s become of American democracy

Incredible that Trump, whilst calling for them to disperse, is still saying the election was stolen from them.....like that’s going to calm it all down....

Just imagine if this was Black people doing this.
    They would have been shot.
If they were allowed to get that far.

If they had been gang bangers we’d be looking at loads of shootings for sure

Has Boris Johnson come out and criticised the protesters?

    Re: US Protests

The Country that has invaded numerous other countries for not implementing or accepting the democratic process! Bizzare irony. Maybe they can invade themselves, maybe they already have.

Protesters yes, not Trump himself for inciting it.

Johnson needs to make a full and proper statement condemning this imbecile for the sake of democracy everywhere.

Farage is writing his tweet of condemnation at this very moment.

Exactly. These people have been conned. They're still being conned. And they have nothing to gain from any of this. It's ****ing sad.

    Why?
It is internal politics and generally outside countries don't interfere.
Of course if they lose control they may call on the British miltary for assistance.

    You’ve misspelled Brussels as Washington;)
