Add on cost of travel if you live outside of the city
Coffee or pint , pie , before or during game
Programme , if you buy one
Adds up doesn't it ?

2 lakes in Barry, a pond in Llantwit, a pond in Llantrisant, a pond near groes faen , a pond near Hensol Castle , a pond near bridgend
A stretch on the river wye , a stretch of the river usk , a stretch of the river trothy
I can fish these places every day if I want
Also there are day permits for pike fishing on the neath canal , port Talbot docks , Hendre Lake near St Mellons, lamby ponds , roath Park etc etc
And its not just an hour and a halfs entertainment , you can go fishing for 5 or 6 hours 🤔

For the mental wellbeing, yes it is. The whole day out on match day, whether home or away, is something to be cherished. Perhaps non football fans don’t get it but for me and my lot the release from everyday life, work, bills, even family etc is an important part of our make up. I miss it.

When we can attend games en masse, then yes.
But then, I'mand disabled, so get a reduced price and a freebee helper - so the split cost is cheap as chips.

I think CCFC season tickets for second tier football represent good value for money. It was 12 quid to watch Merthyr last season.
You don’t have to buy food, programme, beers.etc.
back in the 70s it was roughly the same cost for a couple of hours entertainment at the cinema as it was at top tier football.
these days it is many times more expensive.

Think its great value , sadly spend thousands in the pub pre and post to dull the pain .
For those of us who work most Saturdays and can only take in mid-week games and the rare Saturday ones, I'd say football is definitely very, very over-priced. Especially with the football Harris's teams are serving up!
The actual product itself, maybe not. But the social aspect, the chance to go to new places with mates, get away from everyday stresses and enjoy a drink (if you want) - then absolutely. Away days are so much better than home games in my opinion, which for myself are an all round experience whereas home games are largely an in and out job for myself when I'm back in Cardiff. City are also very reasonable with their prices in my opinion so on the whole i'd lean towards yes but then if you're taking kids etc I can see how it is just not viable every week.
