Interesting to read that sometimes there is a complication with immunising residents if there is an outbreak at a home, leading to a wait of 20 days until it is clear of the virus.
That could impact on them hitting those resifent targets.

The Welsh Government is vaccinating tier 5 next week. I know someone in the 65-70 age group with no health issues is getting theirs on Monday. Apologies if this has been posted already.

I know ABLHB start that tier next week, if they haven't already, as someone I know is having their vaccine Friday.

In mid 2019 there was an estimated 2,589,044 people 16 and over in Wales which considering this figure includes 16 and 17 years olds who won't be vaccinated then we are already over 20% of the way to giving everyone their first dose.
Had mine yesterday as well. How are you feeling? I have a dry throat, dry eyes, headache and shivery. But it's not bad enough to stop me from doing things. I get a flu jab every year with absolutely no side effects.
My mother was laid out for the day with the symptoms you have.

OK thanksI don't get side effects from flu jabs. After yesterday's jab I was slightly achy all over but not much else. Fine today.

I was 'done' today, missus tomorrow.
Slight sore arm but that's about it so far I had the Oxford one.
When I had mine today there were 4 people being done at a time. All very efficient.

Credit where credit's due, Wales NHS doing a very good job, and Drakeford and Gething should get the plaudits they deserve. Don't think anyone would have thought this would happen - ahead of England NHS.

My Mrs had a letter today to confirm that her appointment for her 2nd vacation had been cancelled. The appointment was yesterday. 🙄
She already knew anyway.

Less than 550 new cases again in Wales *(all below 100 in south Wales) and with 589,000 plus people vaccinated, we'll be passing the 600,000 mark, barring accidents, tomorrow only a few days after passing half a million, deaths coming down slowly as well - twenty eight yesterday.

Have you seen how many have refused a vaccine?
I can't imagine they'll get to 100% as some won't want it.
