I think I'm right in saying that the extremely vulnerable who are over 75 are being called by their age rather than vulnerability, so the pace of the roll out is determined by more local factors such as the age distribution at their own GP. I got done at Splott last week, but my 78 year old parents are still waiting.

It's down to Matt Hancock's decision to watch Contagion one evening, which gave the government the idea of ordering huge numbers of vaccines before they even got approved.

I'm in that age group and haven't heard a thing. My local GP surgery in Abergavenny are also asking people not to ring them because they haven't been told anything.

Thr NHS are obviously reading this board. Two hours after writing that I had a letter inviting me to Cwmbran Stadium Vaccination Centre next Tuesday.

In mid 2019 there was an estimated 2,589,044 people 16 and over in Wales which considering this figure includes 16 and 17 years olds who won't be vaccinated then we are already over 20% of the way to giving everyone their first dose.

I won't be getting mine for a while, unlike all you old folk, but my parents should be getting theirs soon if they're already nearing group 5 which will be great for peace of mind
