How do you private message someone on this site?

I've tried all ways to find a way to message a user but it's nowhere to be found?

i think you click on the user name and go from there

Just remembered the newspaper (Times or Telegraph?) that did a two-page spread about mushrooms with photos to describe those that were (as the headings read) Poisonous and those that were Safe to Eat.

The day after, there was an apology for muddling the captions.......

I post from my phone and no options to message another member of forum like the option above someone posted

On my phone at the top right there is a search icon, left of that is a box with dots in it. Clicking that seems to open a menu and has a my messages link, from there I can compose a new one.
