What a lovely goal by him then for Spurs at Bramall Lane, try and watch it if you can.

Almost as good as Will Vaulks at the CCS last summer, can't remember who it was against.

That's what I was thinking. Not as good as the Vaulkes goal against Blackburn as he was on the corner of the Penalty box so further out.

It's better than Vaulks', he's got less distance to get it up and down. Both are absolutely brilliant, though.

    Agree, sublime finish.

Graeme Souness reckons it was a fluke and he just put it back in the mixer

Souness still bitter over the way he left Spurs perhaps, always has a dig.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to see him post-match if Liverpool concede late.

Vaulks was much better than this IMO.

This was a hopeful poke back toward the goal.

I love that when people say, ‘Oh, he didn’t mean that, it was hit and hope’ when a player hits the back of the net from an impossible position. What do they think he was aiming for? It’s akin to a player hitting a shot into the stands and being excused as he wasn’t aiming for the goals.

    Re: Ndombele

Was a great goal but Its pretty much the only thing he could do was hook it in that direction given how he was running and the players around him.

Lee Hendrie who was commentating and was horrific. Said he looked to see if the keeper was off his line, it then showed replays where he didn't look at all.

It looked to me as though he just tried to hook it back into the box, just happened to end up in the net.

A British player wouldn’t have even thought of it.

Believe me, he knew exactly what he was doing. Just look at it again.

Its a cross that's crept in.

Watched it , yes he knew what he was doing in terms of its direction towards the goal , did he think it was
a pure goal bound shot I doubt it.
