Should we have let Gavin Whyte go?

Scorer tonight in a team top of League 1.

Yes. It can only bode well. I hope he does well, they go up and sign him.

Re: Should we have let Gavin Whyte go?

I think he will benefit more playing for Hull than being sat on the bench here.

I also think Hull's style will give him more ball and opportunity going forward than City's under Harris necessarily would.

I think it is a clear question of should we have kept him to play a bit part here and there because Harris clearly doesn't rate him or give him game time at Hull and possibly get some money for him rather than let him go potentially for nothing after little game time here? I think given those options we were right to let him go for the club and player.

For what it is worth having seen him putting in performances for Northern Ireland, a notable one against Germany jumps out, I think there is a decent player in there somewhere if put into the right system at this level.

Re: Should we have let Gavin Whyte go?

    Terrible player at Championship level.

Offered nothing other than running around a lot.

I don’t even know what his best position is.

Never seen him beat a man, never saw him put in a decent cross, never saw him score a goal.

Madine scored the other week for Blackpool, should we bring him back too?

Yes, awful player for us. The stick Glatzel gets in proportion is ridiculous. Whyte not fit to lace Glatzel boots in my opinion

Different positions. Whyte isnt having to fill in a key position though.

Both part of the dreadful transfer window.

We were right to release Whyte.

Joe Mason scored a hatrick last night .
Whoever let him go should be sacked .

Gavin Rae scored for Dundee a couple of years ago. How on earth did we let HIM go?

Player after player has left this club and scored goals , its disgusting.

Man Utd suffered for season after season due to ‘City sign Man Utd star’ Derek Brazil’s departure.
