Until recently I have had dogs since a child.
Sadly both my labs died within a month of each other and I do miss them terribly.
However, they are a big commitment and not finding my shoes/sofa/coats chewed to bits is a bit of a welcome change.
As I am not getting any younger and my hips are about to give out I think that is it for me on the pet front especially as everyone else seems to be getting one.
I will miss the buggers now and might have to talk to the wife and kids
