Perry talks complete gibberish as a commentator, the only thing he would do as a manager is take into division 1 at a quicker rate.

Did you listen to him tonight?
Is so, how you can claim “gibberish” is beyond me.

I can’t take seriously a man who when commentating used to call the legendary Peter....’Whitnum.’

I wish the team had his passion and energy, he just brings the commentary to life.

His point about Moore was valid but no he shouldn’t be manager

Ye. That would be like someone calling Tottenham .."Tot-num" ....oh wait....

I actually think it's far more odd to pronounce all of the syllables. Peter Whit- in -ham . Make you sound like an android.

Do you know anyone who pronounces the "en" in Twickenham. You'd sound like a total bellend.

Maybe not but his other good points from early on were:
Our full backs were offering nothing in attack, there was no width.
That our central defenders weren’t moving forward with the ball when not under pressure.
That pumping straight balls, mostly overhit, was pointless.
That Moore playing on the flanks wasnt the best use of his skills.
That Bacuna needed to have a good game and wasn’t.
That we needed to keep the ball more and that we needed to put attacks together.

He may not be management material but his assessment IMO were correct and he has a passion and connection that could work at least for a short period of time. If HARRIS does go I would now prefer a caretaker manager to the season end rather than another wrong decision.

I can't ever recall hearing anyone ever not pronouncing the 'en' in Twickenham.

Everyone I’ve ever heard say it, pronounces the EN.

    So, yes.

By the way, terribly bad analogy.

Perry’s pronunciation of Whittingham, has always been terrible. It’s not as if it’s a hard name to say, even.
