What are we actually doing wrong?
Can't pass the ball to our own players. Can't control the ball when it does come our way. Can't score.
Harris isn't a very good coach
We've spent years bumbling around not planning for the future and its finally caught up with us
It seems neither the manager nor the board have deemed it important to bring in someone either permanently or on loan to replace the key figure in our drive to the play offs last season, ie Lee Tomlin. Without him the middle of the park looks decidedly uncomfortable for our players. They are consistently struggling against the weakest opposition, so probably that's the reason for by-passing midfield with huge punts up to the 'big man'. You can be the worst footballing side in the division and still win the odd game. With the current displays City are producing however, I don't even see how we can scrap our way to a win. It's free fall at the moment.
Lack of confidence .
No belief.
No leadership.
The side isn't settled .
Too many injuries.
No inspiration.
Midfield supply is poor.
Forwards running around like headless chickens due to poor supply.
No magical Tomlin like moments.
Need a settled defence .
Lacks a Warnock type motivater.
Lots of people say we need a Tomlin but I'm not so sure.
His moments of brilliance paper over a lot of cracks and he can't be relied upon.
Every team can play badly and somehow get something out of a game. Just look at our win at Stoke. But when your confidence and self-belief has been eroded to the extent that it is virtually non-existent, it becomes harder and harder to take points. The players probably feel like they're treading water and are no doubt mindful of the criticism they are getting on here and elsewhere.
I have no doubt that there is enough ability in the team to be in or around the play-off places but ultimately the manager and his coaching staff must take responsibility for letting it get to this.
It's been obvious for some time that the midfield needs a complete overhaul but for some reason this has not been addressed. It seems unthinkable given the way they have performed all season that the manager believes his midfielders are competent at this level. They're not.
I've never been one to support the chopping and changing of managers but the defeats are mounting up and confidence in Harris is at an all time low. The board must now be very close to considering other options.
The squad isnt good enough.
We are desperate for even a near fit Tomlin.
We just need to start scraping enough wins however ugly to get to 50 points.
The lack of intensity to our play until we go behind.
