No names on that list are inspiring but thats where we are as a football club at the moment.

I suppose the question is, are the club looking for a manager who can get the best from this squad and move up the table to relative safety - thus securing the Club's current value, or someone to come in with fresh ideas and be given a few seasons to implement changes.

Perhaps if we were 6/7 points worse off I'd go for the former, however I'd love to see what Bellamy or similar would do given 2-3 seasons..

    Pulis for the banter.

They suspend betting when they are pretty certain who the manager is so they stop taking bets or there are unusual betting patterns.

So if they suspend all bets on Roy Keane they either are near enough certain or there have been a lot of significant decent bets.

(betting isnt suspended on RK by the way.)

Also its sky bet, don't think it generally takes them much to shift odds.

For a variety of reasons I'd be less surprised if we unveiled Guardiola than Keane.

    Keane it is then...

If they appoint Pulis then I give up.

Cook is the obvious easy appointment.

According to this, Mick McCarthy is the favourite! -

People are getting behind some very odd managers. Based on what, I have no idea. I think it’s safe to say there are far more bad options than good options and there is no obvious candidate, like Warnock was. It would break my heart if they went for someone like Pulis or Bowen https://twitter.com/roathboy/status/1352303672898818054
These betting things always start out ridiculously.

    😂😂

Worringly there is a chance they could actually appoint him.( i dont think they will but its not impossible)

Those expecting Eddie Howe are about to be underwhelmed.

Bookies open early books just to generate income. If they had any inside info it would stand out like a sore thumb in any book. Its basically a list of available candidates (which unfortunately doesn't look like it includes Nigel Pearson)

On the plus side though, we can’t be as underwhelmed as everyone was (bar the few - no names!) when Harris was appointed.

So that has to be a positive.

Yeah its just their early prices.

Pearson is in the list 12-1 with William Hill
    33-1 with Skybet.

Lets see. There are some pretty uninspiring choices on the list.

Whoever it is Im sure we will all give him more than 3 games before the knives come out.
