No, because when he gets us up via the play offs they'll keep him on 🤭

I imagine there might be a player or two he knows that might be worth bringing in.

Until he leads us to a 10th place finish and gets a two year extension

They'll have to be free agents or he'll have to work fast.

As I said on a different thread, the players he'll be inheriting are not League 1 or 2 standard but under Harris they just played like it.

Number 1 priority is to boost the player's confidence because it must be rock bottom at the moment. If he can do this, I envisage a swift turnaround in our fortunes. If not..........

Pretty sure Josh Murphy won’t be here long. Can’t see MM putting up with his airy, fairy nonsense

So we should have a bit of leeway to bring in at least one player

Will he be signing the players? Was Harris? Or will he just be told, you're getting x, and you need to use him?

Let’s hope Big Mick tells the suits to stick their beak out of team affairs

Let’s hope he’s got a couple of gems in mind.

Some players follow managers, like Sol and Junior did for Colin

He's here for 6 months, I don't think he's got much to lose. I hope he tells them what's what, and what they need to do in the future.

He will want a couple of nasties in the middle

The day before he was sacked by Apoel he signed an Irish central midfielder called Jack Byrne from Shamrock Rovers. I've seen that lad play a few times in the Europa League and he's exactly the type of player we need - dynamic, tenacious, gets all over the pitch, excellent set piece delivery, and he can actually pass the ball. He was at Man City as a youngster and I think his career went off the rails a bit due to personal problems but he seems to have overcome that and he's still only 24.

McCarthy gave him his national team debut and their relationship was essentially the main reason he signed for Apoel. Since McCarthy left the new manager hasn't picked him. I don't know the FIFA rules on a player moving twice in the same window but could be a possibility of a loan signing?

I would expect a loan or two, possibly a free but I very much doubt any fees will be paid.

He'd be a very good signing in my opinion. Just the ticket to bridge the gap until Lee Tomlin is fit at the very least .

Given the amount of time he's under contract for, I would agree - permanent signings with long contracts would, surely, give a signal as to what the Board's real intentions are in the summer.
