    Re: The MEETINGS MAIN POINTS

Did Mehmet Dalman explain the 6 month contract for Mick McCarthy?

What are they expecting to do in the summer? What are they doing between now and then to prepare for that decision?

Is it a case of MM winning a longer contract with performance, or are they looking to bring in a manager for the medium and long term?

    Or is there no plan?

    It's 6 months

It depends on where we finish and what both parties want.

    It's a possibility
    Or is there no plan?
    You sound like BLACKADDER

The plan is to avoid relegation

Although, I think a DOF, is a complete and utter waste of funds. What ever happened to that one Spurs had, who recommended all those donkeys (i apologize to all donkeys)

    This is bad.

Firstly, the people who will put this strategy in place over the next six months (what have they been doing for the last 5,6,7 years) is Mehmet and Choo. Two people who do not have the knowledge to carry out such a task. Or at least that's how this reads.

No DOF. Personally , I think that is exactly what they need considering the amount of managers that go through this club.

At least we have some crumbs of info.

Presumably both options are open at this point, but I do wonder if they've penciled in end of season interview with Mick to see what he wants to do next rather than just giving him the job if he wins more games than he loses.

There seems to be a greater commitment to youth now. About a year ago, pre-covid, there was a headline considering to upgrade to Cat A Academy status - is this still part of the plans and when can we expect the next step in this process to be taken?

From the outside, it appears that the squad lacks balance with some positions stacked with options (Ralls, Vaulks, Bacuna all being similar) and others seriously lacking (lack of RB cover, lack of fast and mobile midfielder who can pass). At the same time, long and presumably costly contracts were given out with expensive fees paid when coming down from premier league but that squad has now twice hit run of form that has seen two managers sacked/effectively sacked. If transfer committee is working effectively, what lead to these two scenarios and what lessons have been learnt?

Brexit means that number of leagues that new players can come from has been reduced. How does that effect us? What is our scouting system based on?

With the Bale money? Yeah only Lamela and Eriksen were decent buys, DOF can work in some cases though, we certainly need a broader long term vision for the club

The club say that he was given the life presidency role but it was only a titular role and that the agreement gave no executive powers at all.

Michael Isaac’ claim is based on his assertion that his 2% shareholding in the club is worth £10m and was lost when Vincent Tan took more shares by his debt to equity conversion. If 2% of the club is worth £10m that would make the whole club worth £500m. Really?

Director of Football, WHY ! They already have their committee in place and want to go down the road of buying younger players to bring the age of the squad down. Plus possibly earn cash from sell ons.

Mick is looking at the squad and the academy, before making any player requests. He is impressed with some of the academy players in his short time here (I think he's been in background longer)

Sam Hamman is after £15 million, Michael Issacs is after £10 million, keep an eye on the press

Vinnie had a good offer to sell the club, but told um to take a hike.

Shirt sponsorship, 5 deals being looked at.

Ken thanked the fans for paying their £10 to watch the games and said every little helps. He stated, "PLEASE CONTINUE" to watch

Melmet added, like the fans, we do not like seeing the team lose ! Something had to give.
If he had a good offer he can’t be losing too much money or sleep over it......

He hardly gets much grief does he? If anything people question his ability to get the right people running the business, should we be losing three million a month?

It's an ongoing case, with the club compiling more evidence all the time.

Obviously we were not told the specifics, as it's ongoing.

That sounds a long way from Since62's assertion that Isaacs claims the club is worth £500m! Isaacs is claiming his shares were worth £10m at the point that they were diluted.

Tan gets no grief at all. Although, for once, some people are starting to question the long-term plan that he has which is amusing considering everything he has done hitherto has been very much short term thinking.

Except the multiple Houses of Sport, increased stadium capacity, plans for new training base for youth teams of course. Most of what Tan has done has benefited us in the short term only but there have been some things thinking longer term.

What did happen with our Vale of Glamorgan training facility though?

The increase in capacity was badly needed, fair play.

I'm pretty resigned to Mick getting a 2 year deal if he gets us top half

Wasn't it needed to attract the UEFA Super Cup that one year? If yes it increased our profile on world stage and increased revenue throughout the second premier league season.

Without Tan Isaac's shareholding would be worth **** all.

I do wonder if a DoF would be a better communicator at these things (and hopefully they're going to continue) than Dalman though. Presumably he does good work behind the scenes but each statement seems to diminish his reputation.
