    Glatzel to Mainz - COMPLETED

As I posted last night he is on his way over as we speak.
Disappointed it hasn't worked out for the lad, but hopefully this will free up wages for another striker.

Sad as I really love Glatzel.

Wouldn't get your hopes up on a new striker, I've a feeling Vassell will miraculously be healed and they'll say there's no need for a new one 🤣

    Hope this isn't true.
He hasn't worked out but he's a reasonable quality player who can score the dd goal unlike Rhodes who's a washed out player Sheffield Wednesday had to replace with Callum Patterson.

McCarthy looks set to fill the team up with washed up players that once did a job for him.
Then if he leaves in the summer, we’ll have another costly rebuild.
On the other hand, if he stays, then we can look forward to another season of Clogball.

Being a Cardiff City fan really is out there!

    You are joking right?

Bobby G has been an expensive mistake which is a shame as he seems to give it a right go when he plays.

But these weird excuses that we somehow don’t play to his strengths hardly justify any sort of return on £5.5m

I’m sorry that it hasn’t worked out for him here but he isn’t up to it as Moore has shown.

We have Harris and the striker from Crawley.

That's a good move for him. Maybe he'll score another hattrick against Bayern.

Injury and lack of experience make them inadequate back up for Moore. Lose him we are scuppered

They're also short, and can't play up front on their own.

He's a hell of a lot better than Mark Harris would be at it.

    Deal done:

    https://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/news...1-fsv-mainz-05

Forward Robert Glatzel has today joined Bundesliga side 1. FSV Mainz 05 on loan for the remainder of the 2020/21 campaign.

Glatzel has scored eleven goals in all competitions for the Bluebirds since joining from 1. FC Heidenheim in August 2019.

We'd like to wish Robert all the very best of luck while away from CCS.

It was odd watching Zohore on Saturday - him and Glatzel are very similar. Every now and then they pull off a brilliant strike, and you think "Yes, this is it, he's going to be great", but it doesn't last long, and soon you're cursing him again. Zohore = Glatzel.
    All promise, but no delivery.

To be fair Zohore had a period where he was a serious threat , power , pace and a great shot.

Glatzel doesnt really have any of them attributes but does try.

Zohore we did get a big fee for. Glatzel we will be lucky to get a small fee.

    Zohore looked terrible Saturday though.

Zohore had a period where he was completely unplayable, Glatzel has been quite easy to play against

Getting 8m for Zohore is the best business the club has done for quite some time along with Moore for 2m.

It was but if you offer me Zohore or Glatzel now in this team, would be Zohore every time
