I'm sure the NHS will forever be grateful for his fundraising. Came across as a good man.

    RIP Sir Tom.

Heroism to match that of the doctors and nurses of the NHS.

    A life truly worth celebrating.

He couldn't be given it because he was being treated for pneumonia apparently.

The legacy? That a 100 year old man raised money and funds for the NHS when the incumbent government had not? Next time perhaps the Tories could fund the NHS properly instead of giving them a round of insincere applause?

No, but I think in this case it’s a valid point?

Why was Captain Tom Moore fund raising for the NHS?

What do you think his legacy should be?

    I’m all ears.

He wasn't raising oney for he NHS he was raising money for a /nhs affiliated charity that provides off duty facilities for nurses and stuff like that, like unofficial clubs.

you think if so,meone shat in your garden it would be a good reason to make a political comment. It gets boring and you aint convincing anybody.

    Pedantic point taken although...

    “NHS Charities
There are more than 240 NHS charities across the UK and most of them focus on helping our hospitals do more. Collectively these charities give £1 million every day to the NHS so that people can stay well for longer and get better faster. In recent years NHS charities have funded major capital projects, pioneering research and medical equipment at our hospitals, helping patients access the best possible care when they need it most.”

Taken from the NHS Charities website (funnily enough).
