    RIP Ezra Moseley ex Wst Indies and Glamorgan Cricketer

    Just heard the4 sad news from Nick Knight on the Channel 4 coverage of the India V England Test match that Ezra Moseley has died in a road traffic accident in Barbados

    My hazy memory of Moseley was that he generated a lot of pace from a pretty short run up - he was also the man responsible for this video of Graham Gooch which is almost agonising to look at;-



    Another sportsman from around the same time Moseley was bowling for Glamorgan has passed away - Leon Spinks, who beat Ali to win the Heavyweight title and then lost it to the great man in what I believe was his first title defence has died at the age of sixty seven;-

    Very sad news indeed. I remember watching him regularly at Sophia Gardens and he was rapid. My memory fails me now but I do remember him smashing one of the West Indians helmuts in a county game at Cardiff. I also remember Trevor Jesty stripping off his top to put on a chest protector that looked more like a bullet proof vest to face Mosley. RIP Ezra.

    Very sad news. i remember him well, he was really fast. Can't believe it was the early 1980s, where does the time go?
