    Long Throws

Ok so we are going to carry on with the long throws and i have to admit i was doubting their merits but they now seem to be bearing fruit. What i can't understand is when we are at home there is an abundance of towels to wipe the ball but when we go away we have to rely on the shirts to do the job. Shirley we are allowed to dot a few towels around the away grounds.

I think it’s up to the home side to allow the towels etc. Rory Delap once wore a towelled undershirt to get round it 😂

Although there was an away game on Sky before Christmas where we had been using towels to dry the ball in the first half (placed around the pitch by Cardiff staff) but come the second half they had all disappeared. The commentators thought it was a fine piece of gamesmanship by whoever it was we were playing.

I like a long throw - just not every time.

More Premier League clubs have been using the long throw this season - and there are more specialist throw in coaches now than 5 years ago.

I noticed on Saturday that we passed on a few chances to throw it into the box. Admittedly the game was won by then though.
