Thread: FT: MIDDLESBROUGH 1 - 1 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

    Just watched the manager's interviews.
Mick pretty accurate in his assessment, basically not the best game he'd ever been involved with.
Neil's was one of "Mick will know he's got away with one there".
Yeah right, you gave us a footballing lesson

Awful game with both keepers having **** all to do.

Take a point all day long

Joe Bennett, who's default settings in possession are: (a) play it to some invisible winger in the first row of the stand, or (b) shape to cross it to our 6 ft 5in centre forward who's on fire, then turn inside and play a 30-yard pass back to the centre half instead.

Not as funny as this from Warnock after the match, mind: "We played some good stuff at times. We passed it well."

    Most depressing "fan" ever.

    A good result.
    Looked a tired performance.

Thank you ‘Boring Bob’, for taking time out from writing your tedious blog, to share your acerbic wit with me!

Probably because we'd won the last 6 games.

So, you must have read my blog at some time to come to the conclusion it's "tedious" or are you just replying out of some sort of compulsive need to always have the last word?

Anyway, can I say from one bore to an even bigger one that I've finished with this thread now (two replies are way too many for anything you start), so go ahead, have your last word.

Games were coming thick and fast, there would undoubtedly be tired legs.

I’m sure there were many who couldn’t believe he didn’t make 2/3 changes.

That’s what a squad is for, and with players returning to fitness we had a much stronger bench of players available, to allow him to do that.

Gotta love people like you who dish it out, but can’t take it back.

    Yes, he should.

Wrong, Bluebird23. The blog doesn’t just happen. Huge planning and preparation must take place before it is published. Plus, it is really interesting.

You're arguing against his decision, which is fine. Not saying I disagree.

But you said you didn't understand...The reason is that we had won 6 on the bounce.

What you're saying would also have been true for the Bournemouth game, but we won that so does that mean the team didn't need freshening up? It's all hindsight now and everyone is manager of the year
