    What makes you say that?

He's a good presenter and not just MOTD.

Over £1m a year from the BBC alone. That might not be a huge salary to you but it is for most people.

Gary Lineker - £1.35 million a year apparently
Bradley Walsh- £11.5 million a year apparently
The ex footballer who never played a league game is doing alright.

I don’t mind Bradley Walsh on the chase but what the hell is that show where he goes on holiday somewhere with his son and has a good time getting paid to do it and we’re supposed to watch that as entertainment? ?

It is double standards when people complain about the earnings of the likes of Lineker yet the likes of Bradley Walsh (who I like by the way, although he is beginning to grate a touch) seem to get an easier ride while picking up vastly more. They’re both ultimately being paid by the consumer, us, after all.

TV is full of programmes where millions of people watch other people doing the most mundane things that they could be doing themselves.Watching people watching TV must take the biscuit though and so-called reality is built on artifice and manipulating the gullible viewer.

    End of sermon.

P.S. Sorry, young lady, you are a wonderful singer but you don't have a back-story involving tragedy that the viewers can shed a few tears about....

If the salary on ITV is 10 times bigger, you'd think people might have cottoned on that that can only mean that they are each paying more towards it than they are to BBC salaries.

But nope, that penny is still to drop.

It's a lot for me but its market rate for someone who is one of the best at it.
