Marvelous Marvin Hagler has passed away.
One of, if not my favourite boxer ever.

    Total class act.

    Re: Marvin Hagler RIP

I remember him dishing out one of the most brutal hidings I've ever seen to Alan Minter.
Some disgraceful scenes with all sorts being thrown into the ring at the stoppage.

    Sad news.
    One heck of a fighter.

    RIP Marvelous Marvin.

Brutal and brilliant. Pound for pound up there with the very best. Somewhat ironic he has password away so shortly after Minter.

Hagler v Hearns, is one of the best fights ever.

Hagler was cut and his corner said it looked bad, he knew he had to take Hearns out in the next round, and did.

I’ll always remember Hearns being carried back to his corner, like a rag doll.

Post boxing, he earned a living making spaghetti westerns in Italy.

One of those fighters who I believe provoked real fear in opponents before they got into the ring, his fight with Hearns was incredible;-

One of the best chins in boxing history. Hagler was an all time great. That middleweight division was a truly golden era, which i was lucky enough to have seen.
Imo, SRL was the best, but big respect to Marvellous Marvin. RIP.

One of, if not my favourite fighter of all time.

Never knew of him involved in a bad fight and that in many parts was down to his style. Pressure and bringing it was his game and most opponents knew it but it was whether they could deal with it. Only a few did.

    RIP.
