The lack of composure from City was quite something.

A bigger sitter than Moore’s chances, he should have put us out of our misery.

    Should really have scored.
No luck 2 minutes earlier with the keeper fumble but lots of luck there.

More drama in injury time than the whole game.
Saying that, Kieffer could have had a hat trick!

Strange team choice but a biggie Saturday.
Mick has some work to do.

That last minute sums it up. Vaulks a chance to break space Moore in space and Vauks finds touch. Just poor quality.

Wilson only gets 10 minutes , no Murphy.

Thought Sang and Ng did well. Sang actually looks as though he can pass a ball.

Mick got this one wrong! Stoke were there for the taking, the way they played the ball out from the back. No Wilson and Murphy? Poor team selection. Sort it out for Saturday Mick!

This season is just petering out. Avoiding defeat on Saturday is now my main hope.

Moore was running on fumes in the last 10 minutes. I struggle to believe that one of the subs wouldn't have been a better option.

Why do we keep insisting on running Moore into the ground, he's gonna get injured and was holding his hip a lot in the second half. Surely we can change it from time to time and give him a breather and try something else.

Warnock’s Middlesbrough back above us again

Re: CARDIFF CITY v STOKE CITY. Match thread

You can tell when Wales are struggling because Bale will drop into our defensive half and other positions you don't really want him to in order to try and create something. Moore felt the need to do that today which eventually knackered him out for the two good chances, although his finishing still needs some working on.

Barnsley have desires to be a play-off team this year and regularly makes multiple subs on 60/65 minutes. It feels as if Mick was more interested in practicing the system, picking up a point after his first defeat and preparing for the weekend and the good pr a win in the derby will create - he didn't show desire to win today's game even though we needed three points to have some hope for the play-offs.

Are we going to be happy with a win against the jacks even though we've now dropped four points in a week to effectively end our season?

We haven't played well since Joe Bennett got injured.

But why is he running on fumes (I agree with you) though? He's a professional athlete. I've got the Bournemouth v Swansea game on and Ayew isn't running on fumes and he's older than Moore.

On the bright side: Sang, Brown and Phillips got more minutes. I still don't know what to make of Brown but that's because he looks so much like Morrison I can only tell difference when camera is close up.

If MM had given Moore a bit more of a rest we'd be in a really good position for the weekend. Swansea are as desperate for a rest and you'd have to think our lot would have more motivation to even out the record after earlier in the season.

Ayew doesn't work nearly as hard as Moore.
