Wigan buy-out. Why not us?

So Wigan are being bought out by investors from Bahrain. It's funny, when you see clubs being bought out by overseas men with money, I used to wonder 'Why not Cardiff?'. Surely we've got to be a far more attractive investment than Wigan?
Unless of course, they did ask, but Cousin Vinnie isn't selling...

Not strange at all. I've got nothing against Tan, and think he's done a great job. My point is that you'd think some of these investors might take a look at Cardiff, and see it as a good investment. Great stadium, low debt, recent success... looks like a club that could go somewhere with a bit more clout behind them. The fact that it doesn't happen, makes me think that Tan turns people away.

My reply was based on what I thought was quite a random statement but having now seen that piece lifted from the other site I can see reasoning behind the thread

There are however a of a lot of owners out there worse than our Vincent and I'm of the view "be careful what you wish for."
