Niasse was good for a while, he just couldn't score which is quite important. He made a massive difference though.

Ya, if we had got someone who scored a few goals, we might had a few better results

He started 12 games for us. We won 4, lost 8 and failed to score in half of them. Niasse failed to improve our goalscoring or points per game average to any tangible effect while we lost more games on average when he started than when he didn't.

We were dreadful in the last few games that Paterson played up front that season. Remember the 0-0 draw at home against Huddersfield? It was the game after which Warnock ranted about Brexit.

He came in, we outplayed Arsenal, then won 2 on the spin vs Bournemouth and Southampton, and then beat West Ham. We won 3 out of 6. Niasse made an impact to our performances, we actually played quite well for the first time. We absolutely murdered West Ham. He couldn't hit a barn door, granted but he was better than anyone else.

Looking at Huddersfield's fixtures, we could do with Niasse coming good and scoring a shed load. Preferably in the opposition's goal. He is welcome to use any part of his anatomy that is within the rules.
