Brilliant block by Rodon. He very much looks the part. Unconvincing but it’s all about the win. Considering all the players missing its a good result. Moore has to start and Joniesta always brings positivity to the side when he comes on.

Who cares, great win in the end. Thought Moore had crossed it to James for a perfect reverse large to little for that goal, haha. Great block by Rodon. Very tidy defender he looks.

Not the most skillful but a pain in the arse to play against and very physical. Maybe they’ve been watching City videos.

So did the City players stay injury free? That is the important question.

Agree about Joniesta, I can see why we signed him! He only needs to turn one game in the run in and he’ll be worth every penny we’ve spent on him.

Always like him as a player. So direct. He just need to stay fit.

Excellent result against a very good team. Not a classic team performance but some big individual performances (Rodon take a bow) and another very good goal. Really enjoyed that :)

Great three points, particularly with players like Ramsey, Davies and Allen out.

    Credit to them.

Bale always answers his first question saying “Yes no”....

Some interesting opinions. Can’t say I enjoyed that at all but I’ll take the 3 points. Bale & James did nothing all game & then that. The much maligned Ward, Lawrence & Morrell all had quietly efficient games. Neko Williams is wasted on the left. Kieffer & Johnny made a difference. Ampadu was poor. MoM also Rodon for me. Thought the ref. got his decisions right.

We played better with ten men. The subs made a difference.

Neco Williams shaping up to be a really good player, Joe Morrell so brave on the ball and if James Lawrence had pace he'd be a premier league CB. Oh, and Joe Rodon is a beast again.

Gareth Bale celebrating us winning the ball from a throw in in time added on with a double first pump. That sort of leadership matters.

Kieffer Moore wearing anti-racism shirt while on the bench for the cameras to see is also an example of strong leadership. Good man.

Man of the match, was someone no body has mentioned !!

He was playing against a world class midfield and didn’t look out of place !!

20 year old Ethan Ampadu, what a player

There didn't seem to be a need for Roberts to go down holding his face but there was a clear elbow in the buildup to it(which it looks as though the ref had spotted). Roberts got booked for the same incident so it seemed fair enough to me.

Thought the second yellow for Roberts was more of a case of 'levelling the playing field' by the ref (and the Czechs were proving anything Roberts can do ,they can do better by clutching their face after every challenge) but the ref got a lot more right than wrong, including the 2 good 'penalty' decisions.
