This has been the policy since we started coming out of lockdown, see how things go with infection rate etc. If it's below what was predicted, then things are brought forward. Leisure centres have been closed constantly during lockdown, great places where people meet, community events, wellbeing etc, as well as local hubs that help the vulnerable, sell discounted hot food for those that are skint, help with benefits, free computer courses and reading and numeracy and a lively social scene for the community. I haven't seen you object to that, only the boozer. Strange..
