New Polling Looking Good For Labour

How the Senedd would look From the Recent Poll 2000 people Opinion Research Sky News Project :

How Senedd Would Look, If Accurate :

Labour: 29 seats (same as 2016)
    Conservatives: 19 seats (up 8 on 2016)
Plaid Cymru: 10 seats (down two on 2016)
    Lib Dem: 1 (no change)
    Ukip: 1 (down six)

Who people said they would vote for in their constituency
    Labour : 40% (up 5%)
    Conservatives : 30% (up 9%)
    Plaid Cymru : 19% (down 2%)
    Other party : 7% (down 8%)
    Lib Dem : 4% (down 4%)

(Figures in brackets compared to 2016)
    .
    First Minister Poll :

    Mark Drakeford (Labour) 29%
    Andrew RT Davies (Conservatives): 10%
    Adam Price (Plaid Cymru): 8%
    Neil Hamilton (Ukip): 3%
    Jane Dodds (Liberal Democrats) 3%

However, 14% said none of the major leaders would be the best First Minister, while 32% did not know.

Should Wales be an Independent country?

The poll showed that 52% would vote no and 28% would vote yes for independence. Of those asked, 14% said they did not know and 5% would not vote.

Of those who said they voted Plaid Cymru in the General Election in 2019, 29% would not vote for Welsh independence and 17% did not know. It would mean 51% of party supporters asked would vote yes, with 46% saying no or did not know. Those who said they would not vote, having previously supported Plaid Cymru, totalled 3%.

So it's looking like Labour possibly about 1 or two seats short of a majority.
Presumably that would mean some kind of loose arrangement with Plaid.
Wasn't long ago people were predicting a conservative win here.

Take some doing for Tories to win , its Labour's forever , unless we have a nationalist up rising or they try and take us back into Europe.
