Too much fecking perspective
Greatest movie scene of all time.
The final killing scene at the end of Taxi Driver
1976
Still one of the darkest and disturbing 5 minutes of cinema ever made
Far too graphic to put on here
Good but not as good as this one, Eddie Mars getting his comeuppance...

One of the best final scenes i’ve had the pleasure to watch.
Great ending to a top film
Joe Pesci walking into the courtroom in that suit in My Cousin Vinnie.
The eerie "I'm sorry Dave I can't do that" moment from 2001 Space Odyssey when the HAL9000 computer finally takes over the spaceship having killed off the rest of the crew:

Once Upon A Time In The West Part 1
Part 2
Another iconic scene from Once Upon a Time in the West. Henry Fonda's entrance.
According to Fonda, he grew a moustache and put in brown contact lens to hide his own blue eyes.
He met Leone like this and Leone said to get ride of them, he wanted Fonda's baby blue eyes. When he did the following scene (his first in the film) when he leads his gang toward the petrified little boy whose family Fonda has just massacred, he realised that Leone wanted him to look like he usually did because when the camera pans around from the rear of the gang to see the cast against type villain Fonda's face and trademark blue eyes for the first time the audience would say " Jesus Christ it's HENRY FONDA!!"

I tried to cut it down to one but gave up!
Two scenes from Day of the Jackal
If you have never seen the film they contain spoilers - but everyone knows De Gaulle wasn't assassinated!!

The Good the Bad and the Ugly
It is a long excerpt and is really several iconic scenes together, but the whole piece really goes together and I couldn't decide which bit to leave out because to me the cinematography and music for the scene (as well as the acting) are just sublime!

To save Sludge time, best bit is 2.25 in
10 metres
9 metres, theyre right on top of us
8, 7, 6 - it can't be theyd be in the room
more of a positive one:
"I've looked everywhere, I can't find him"
"well look again"
"I've found him"
"where?"
"there!"
points to submarine Indiana Jones has just swam across to. John Williams music strikes up.
yes it's a bit of fun, compared to the other scenes on this thread but that scene puts a smile on my face every time
Close encounters of the third kind when the spaceship comes down and they start communicating by music before the abductees come down the ramp or the drunken show us your scars scene in Jaws.
