Sounds Lee Bowyer is going to play some of his fringe players.

He recognises we have a long throw as a weapon. Only Vaulks is banned so not such a weapon tomorrow. Bowyer has done well since he's been there.

Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match preview

    From Mick's pre-Birmingham press conference:

McCarthy is asked about giving more first team debuts after Rubin Colwill's recent outing

    Possibly, yeah.

Rubin was excellent and he will be involved tomorrow and we have got a few others - Isaak Davies is in the squad, young Kieron (Evans) is in the squad, Sam (Bowen).

We have a few travelling with us, we have a few injuries, but it was my intention anyway to have some youngsters in the squad anyway.

They’ll be involved now, over the next couple of games. Hopefully they’ll have some game time.

    Injury news

Sean came off with his elbow. That’s proving to be a problem for him. Max Watters has a tight hamstring.

Jordi has got an ankle problem. Will Vaulks is obviously suspended. That’s enough for now!

I’m just looking at the list; Junior Hoilett, Tommo, Isaac Vassell, Joel Bagan, Joe Bennett, Tom Sang.

It's a nothing game for both clubs so expect lots of young faces, plenty of subs, and either lots of goals, or none at all....

Nothing to play for. Hopefully an entertaining 3:3 draw. At least I wont get trodden on by one of our travelling Heddlu, like last time (an accident I hasten to add!)

A game with absolutely nothing riding on it.

Lee Bowyer, obviously looking towards next season, makes seven changes.

Mick McCarthy, obviously looking towards next season, brings back Leandro Bacuna and Harry Wilson.

Does anyone know the formation yet? It could also be 4-3-3.

Packs playing right centre back, Ng and Brown wing backs, so, for the first time, we have a passer at the back - it’s definitely something worth trying in a game like this.
