Go to the beach as often as I can. Swim in the ocean. Catch some fish. Eat some fish. Get a tan. Mix with friends and family.

It's about a 2.5 hour drive. It's past the Hamptons which are full of disgustingly rich New Yorkers. I go to Long Beach Island in New Jersey. Put a bit of bunker on the end of your line and you can catch a brown shark from the shore. I've seen it done many times.

NYC Blue, do you watch any live sport over there?

With 1 of 3 of my abroad holidays cancelled so far, we will probably only end up going camping.

Wouldn’t mind doing a few Cardiff away games and staying over night - if we are allowed back in the stadiums this year.

I very occasionally go to NY Red Bulls games. And the odd baseball or NFL game.

Baseball is difficult during the week because the games finish at about 10pm and it's all the way up in the Bronx or way out in Queens. Yankee games are also prohibitively expensive.

I went to a Jets game about 3 years ago. The tickets were free but the parking was $40. And I spent about $100 in the stadium.

I've been meaning to find a minor league baseball team to watch and starting next September I'm going to try high school football games on Friday nights.

    Nothing booked.
Will probably visit Llantwit a few times and hope that France opens back up so I can get back to Paris, as I need to work.
Outside of that, probably keeping on running down the bank balance and dream of a sandy beaches.

    Sounds nice.

I'm absolutely desperate to get home.

It's been 18 months. I usually get back to Cardiff twice a year.

Unsure of quarantine rules and also flight prices have rocketed. My mum isn't so well. And I don't know if I will make it back..

If I don't make it back it will be couple of trips to lake Victoria and also a hike up the rwenzori mountain.

But I'd rather come home 😔

Pembrokeshire Coastal Path second half of this month (B&Bs open from 17th)

Southern stretch of the Cornwall Coastal Path (Penzance to Plymouth) in September (did Bude to Penzance in 2019).

Walking in the Peak District most days and a few long weekends away.

Hoping for normal (ish) in 2022 and a return of some foreign travel.
