Things I thought I never do

See CCFC play at Wembley 4 times, including an FA cup final and league cup final

See ELO in concert (well Jeff Lynne, but I'm having that)

Be 'comfortable' with well educated kids in good jobs and a decent retirement to look forward to after leaving school with 4 CSEs, having reports that depicted me as an absolute waster

Working incredibly hard with education after school (when I'd matured a bit) to fill in the gaps I created in my education

Meet Alan Smith shortly after him being sent off for Leeds against us (tidy guy, we had a laugh)

Fly in a harrier GR3

Go from a very fit 20 something running in competitive long distances, to a fat fifty something that struggles to put his socks on

Fly business class to Australia (still paying now, but absolutely worth it)

Visit my old school in Australia just before the pandemic, I left in 1976

Lots more on the list, just need to wise up with health and get the green light for travel, eg:

To get a metal detector and find a roman coin

To have good health for the rest of my days
