Congrats to Leicester City for adding an FA Cup trophy to their Premiership title. Success is not limited to the so-called BIg SIX and their absentee landlords.

The celebrations of the Leicester players after their victory deliberately included their chairman who has clearly bonded with players and fans alike. There is something special going on there - in stark contrast to these days of overseas owners and their greed in attempting to form their own league as a money-making exercise which alienated fans and players. And the bond between the chairman's family and club has been strengthened by the genuine outpouring of emotion after that terrible helicopter crash.

How do we think Vincent Tan and his management compares with the Leicester model?

Tan's made some bad decisions based on his own strange-to-us feelings and beliefs. He's taken umbrage at the nasty attacks on him by City fans. He's also been absent from 99% of games over the last few years. But he's also been there at the ground sharing in the success of promotions and has tried to fratenise with fans. Although there is a mixed viewof his support of the club, most balanced fans feel he's been a good owner in terms of the supply of funds. But he is well-short of the adulation and love showered on Aiyawatt 'Top' Srivaddhanaprabha on Saturday.
