Bury FC's Gigg Lane stadium put up for sale

A sober tale of when things go bad for a club, they can get real bad. Wasn’t Dave Jones bought in as an advisor to try and steer them out of trouble just before they were kicked out of the league?

    Yes sad.

Remember getting relegated to the dungeon up there

Great day out though. Sun shone beer flowed helicopters circled the ground and we lost.

Was that the 0-2 game, early 90s? Few lads interrupted a bowls match on the way to the ground through Cemetery Park, they laid on the green pointing at the white ball chanting ‘You Jack Bastard’.

Feck Sky , Feck assists , Feck The Premier League

This is what football is about

All Bury fans want is to support their team

And we have ponces in the greedy league on 300 grand a week

    Shove it

Even in desperate times like this, it seems there’s one rule for the big boys and another for the minnows.
Bury get liquidated and lose everything.
Glasgow Rangers get liquidated, manage to hold on to Ibrox, and are back with in a few yrs, as top club in Scotland.

You mean Sevco who have miraculously inherited all of the titles and history of Glasgow Rangers football club? It never was, isn’t now and never will be the same football club. But football has been rotten since the formation of the Premiership so I don’t know why we are still going on about it.

Very sad. Shirley up there with one of the old football grounds in the UK, if not one of the oldest surviving sports stadia in the world?

teams like Bury need gigg Lane

They don't need an all seated 12000 seater stadium

    They would never fill it
