He's got a pretty good record in the Championship.

A pretty good record of getting his teams to pass the ball to death across the back and between midfield and defence whilst getting absolutely nowhere. Also a pretty good record at getting himself sacked just after achieving promotion.

    Err...

Someone on twitter said his Watford and Fulham side played very different football to each other. Can't remember paying attention to what he did at Watford to know if accurate or not.

Clueless. In his two full seasons at Fulham they scored 164 league goals in 92 games, got in the play offs first season and promoted via play offs second season.

Not bad for a team who pass the ball and get absolutely nowhere.

Slavisa Jokanovic has a win percentage of 49.7% in the Championship and his teams average 1.74 points per match.

Neil Warnock has a win percentage of 42.6% in the Championship and First Division and his teams average 1.55 points per match.

Mick McCarthy has a win percentage of 44.9% in the Championship and First Division and his teams average 1.62 points per match.

You've had an absolute nightmare here.....

During Jokanovic's one season with Watford, they scored 91 goals while winning automatic promotion to the Premier League and finished with a goal difference of +41. To put those figures into perspective, Watford's promotion-winning side this season scored 63 goals and finished with a goal difference of +33.

When Jokanovic took over at Fulham in December 2015, they were just three points above the Championship relegation zone. They ended the 2015/16 campaign 11 points clear of the drop and scored 66 goals in the process - more than any other team outside the top ten and three more than Middlesbrough, who won automatic promotion.

In his first full season at Craven Cottage, Fulham reached the play-offs and scored 85 goals while doing so - the joint-highest tally in the division. In his second full season, Fulham again reached the play-offs and on that occasion won promotion to the Premier League. They scored 79 goals in 2017/18, which was ten more than Neil Warnock's up-and-at-'em runners-up. Fulham's goal difference of +33 was the second best in the division.

Rather than "getting absolutely nowhere", Jokanovic's Championship teams have tended to play very attractive football, score lots of goals and get promoted to the Premier League. Indeed, if you were a Championship club chairman who was looking for a manager to win you promotion while playing exciting stuff and scoring lots of goals, Slavisa Jokanovic would be somewhere near the top of your list.

How I wish he was coming to us but there was never any chance of that with our Vin; Jokanovic would have demanded sensible investment in the squad.

Didn't Wilder leave because he didn't want to work with DoF? Have Sheffield United brought one in or was that a ploy to break away from manager they wanted to move on from?

I think that you are confusing him with Neil Harris.

Didn’t he get Fulham promoted playing decent football?
