Brought a smile to my face, Bunley, like the made up names which were quite similar to real names in stories like ‘It’s Goals That Count’ and ‘Limp Along Leslie’ in The Hotspur and the like. Carford City, Everpool etc

Brilliant. Thanks for this havent seen this for years..

As the years have gone by I thought the winning goal was the Curtis free kick.

    What a day that was.

Didnt realise Leighton James was playing. Probably did at the time.

First season I watched us away regularly.

Hasn’t the OP simply written it how the locals pronounce it?

Last game of season. I wore a Hula skirt and a green wig for some bizarre reason. Before we left on Adar Glas coach the players mingled with us at Ninian Park - Alan Curtis stuck his hand up my skirt.
    Can't make that sh1t up.😀

I also thought Paul wheeler was dreadful but he played well when he came on

Another great night out. We were discussing this on the thread about Liverpool fans. You can see us crammed in behind the goal and even fans on the fencing separating the 2 sections. Most of the rest of the ground had plenty of room. We should have had the North Bank. Just a small number of Jacks on there supporting their capital.
