Page went for it at the end with Brooks on for James leaving Ramsey, Bale, Moore on the pitch as well which signifies how much the camp wanted to win but I felt it invited too much pressure coming back the other way. I didn't really like that decision and didn't like our strategy for defending against Embolo who was best player on the pitch.
Midfield looks our weakest area. I'm not going to mention the V word because I'm done with that debate, but I'm slightly concerned that 4-3-3 today didn't give control of the ball/space when our other formations presumably give up more.
I think we probably got away with one but we're still very much in it. First goal of 2020 Euros, first point too and plenty of improvements that can be made.

I've never been fussed on Allen but him and Morrell can't be the best we have.
Our central midfield is an embarrassment. I actually feel sorry for Will Vaulks.
As much as I criticize City's midfield, I have to agree that Will Vaulks is a far better all round player than Morrell. Having said that, Bale, Ramsey, Allen, all looked pale imitations of their earlier versions..

I don’t think Morrell should start against Turkey but a great assist from him.
Danny Ward is wasted as a number two. He needs to be at a club as a number one.
Bizarre that James was taken off. He was our best attacking force.

Point is a bonus. 2nd best by a mile. Ward man of match. James bizarrely subbed played well , Moore done well.
Apart from that difficult to come up with positives apart from a lucky point.
So much moaning in this thread even after we equalised - that’s a great point for us.
