    Ashley Williams…Wales pundit?

Obviously wasn’t good enough to be an England pundit

He sounds thick as…..probably because he is

    Fabulous Captain for us.
Wish he was involved with the squad!!

ex-Jack or not he is a decent bloke. He committed to Wales and was a great captain, and he went up hugely in esteem when he scored that goal against Belgium. At least with Welsh pundits we won't have what we had on BBC1 last night. A review of the tournament turned in to just a discussion on how good the England players were and how they were going to win it.

He is most definitely not a “decent bloke”, or a Welshman…you are making that up.

S4C is better….they actually got Welsh people on there

He's doing OK. If he had played for Cardiff the attitude against him would be far different. He was a very good player for Wales.

    Think he speaks well

My attitude would be even better if he wasn’t an English reject!

Malcolm Allan much better on S4C !

Is Mark Hughes not Welsh then? Or Robbie Savage?
Excellent coverage of the game on the BBC.

Williams has been very good as a pundit. He's got something worthwhile to say - real insight, articulate and a nice touch of humour. He seems to be comfortable in that environment. Hal Robson-Kanu sounds unsure of himself and reliant on speaker notes and bland cliches and Mark Hughes is strangely subdued. Robbie Savage is so much better when he isn't trying to be clever (except in the BoJo put-down).

Giving a modern, fresh and relevant inside to what’s happening - what’s the the issue with that.

Rather than a pundit from a failed yesteryear campaign.

I like williams, seems like a decent presenter aswell. Mind you, all credit to Grangetown blue aswell. He's been harbouring this resentment for years, its nice to see him still remaining so committed to the cause

It didnt take him long to respond either, so that resentment is still very much upmost in his mind.
What I particularly admire is that whilst enjoying the punditry of Malcolm Allen on S4C, he still found time to watch our Ashley on BBC1 to form an opinion on him
