Although he’s had far more England chances, I always think there’s similarities between James Vince and Matthew Maynard, both classy and naturally talented, but unable to carry their county form into the international game. Well, now, at a time when he must have almost given up on his England career, Vince has an international hundred to his name. More than that, it’s looking like it may be a match winning hundred under a lot of pressure - could it earn him a recall to the test team?
