Only obscure if you don't know him.
Why you feel the need to winge about it I don't know.
All you do is moan about other people.
Don't think I've ever seen you post something constructive or positive

    RIP BLUEBIRD.

    Re: RIP Tom O'Connor

Tom O'Connor was a spelling mistake away from playing for us. Anyone remember Tim O'Connor who started in a 2-1 defeat at Bristol Rovers in November 1985 and came on as a sub in a 1-1 home draw with Gillingham four months later? No, I can't either.

"A forward taken on by City in some of their darkest days when he was spotted in the Welsh League. He managed a couple of appearances but never looked the answer to City's striking problems at the time, and released at the end of the season, he went back to the Welsh League."

Well said Bill. I think that it should be made compulsory that whenever there's a RIP thread on here, usually a celeb, that they are considered honorary dead bluebirds.

I remember him. I was a schoolboy at the time, and he must've been quite young because he was doing 'jobs' after training. Quiet lad, i always thought that he was Irish.

What harm is it doing to you? You could, of course, just skip past thinking "some obscure person has passed away, and someone on ccmb has started a thread, why?" and go on your way.

What a pity. Not a bad innings I suppose but a great chap.
He was a schoolteacher in Liverpool who became a comedian and as far as I know had no connection with this club.
Seems to be two conversations about two different people going on here.

It would be a whole lot better if we all learned to live in peace.

I didn’t know that Tom had popped his clogs, till i logged on here, so i for one, am glad Elwood posted this. Used to love Name that tune back in the day.
We could have our own show on here, called Name that Loon! We’d have plenty of contestants.

    Just an observation.

I'd get it if it was a footballer, as its a football related forum.

Nobody mentioned any harm, I was pointing out that I don't get the need for a thread every time someone pops off.

The reactions of a few says quite a bit about them mind, bloody he'll 😂

Weren't you complaining about people ruining threads a few weeks ago?

What does a foil mouthed rant fall under in your eyes, would that be ruining a thread?
Or doesn't it matter when it suits you?
