    Barnsley Latest

    What’s the score with this?

I have renewed my ST but are we using the old cards?

Is the club selling general admission tickets to full capacity based on the assumption restrictions will be lifted?

When does WAG confirm we are going to Level 0?

I was told last week that new cards were being issued, but wouldn't be ready in time for the Barnsley game! So they intend to send out paper tickets to everyone.

I know it's England so rules are different but Bristol City have allocated Blackpool 1,000 tickets for the opening day fixture at Ashton Gate.

I see also that The Tramshed in Cardiff have announced a 700 person no restriction nightclub event on Aug 7th. They say they have to green light to go ahead. We must get some info soon on our game. Maybe they are waiting to see how it goes tonight.

I have tickets to see Gary Delaney at the Glee Club on Aug 15th. Theyve said it's a sell out with no social distancing.
Maybe they know something we dont?

Is Blackpool one of them for our fixture Tony?

I notice a few coach organisers that usually travel taking names.

    For those two, yes.

For us, as yet no information, they'll probably let us know on the 13th August

It very clearly states, when you renew your season ticket, that new season ticket cards are being issued this season. You must have missed it. Why worry about general admission sales ? I would think that season ticket holders and the club have got enough to deal with, waiting for the WAG to make their mind up how many can attend and whether all season ticket holders will get in and how to organise it if they can't, in the short amount of time available. WAG are not interested in providing clarity to businesses, as they have fully demonstrated over the last 18 months. They will probably announce it the day before the season starts.

Playing devils advocate here, but why should the WAG take into account our fixture list when deciding what date they make their announcement about easing restrictions?
Thought it was about the data and not dates?

To put us on an even playing field, for the league we are in.

22 other teams might moan, if their supporters are not allowed to attend.

At the fans meeting, the club stated "if Barnsley want 2500 tickets, Barnsley can have 2500 tickets"

As far as the club are concerned, it's open house on 7th August

They can’t grant that number whilst having a 2000 capacity for a cricket ground just down the road. It would look ridiculous…..
