Colwill and Moore were in the stands last night and not isolating any more. I didn't see Bacuna with them in the match coverage.
He's caught covid, which is unfortunate and probably will keep him out of the opening game at least, but not a disaster.

You can still get covid even with the vaccine.

But the probability of three vaccinated individuals getting it (with the AZ having an efficacy of 60% against the delta variant) is low: around 0.064. (Assuming they are independent events.)

Maybe he just knows that all 4 players (Moore, Colwill, Bacuna, Ng) have tested positive for Covid?
Just as he knew that 19 players at Nicosia had tested positive and had to quarantine and recover?
Why are you worried by his talk? If it is an excuse for players not being available, it is a pretty good one!
It’s part of a whole course of conduct, ( perhaps). I keep getting the impression that he’s lowering expectations at every opportunity and that he’s not terribly committed to achieving anything other than keeping the accountants happy.
