The vinegar is doing nothing unless it’s agricultural vinegar which is hard to get without a licence. You can distill it yourself if you can be bothered. If it rains the salt will wash through.
If it’s a yard and you do not want to grow anything there in the future, the most effective thing is diesel although of course I’m not telling you to do that since it’s illegal and it upsets the tree huggers in the unlikely event that anyone finds out.
