Shocking way to treat a club legend, we'll always have Sutton....

    Surely the right decision.

Good luck to Marley though, as a Cardiff City player I hope he finds a new club.

Probably leaves the club with the best goals per game record of any Cardiff player.

So glad Harris is staying, he did more today in his cameo than Collins has done in all matches to date.

Agreed. If Moore isn't ready to start yet, I'd get Harris up there.

It's so difficult playing as a lone striker though. I think that collins is the type of player who likes the ball played into his body by the fullbacks, that didn't happen tonight, and it sort of makes him a bit redundant as he can't lay the ball off and get into the box. Bagan kept going short to giles, which was fine with me, but collins looked like he had to reset himself every time it happened. Harris did very well, full of energy.

True. The ultra defensive formation doesn't help us.

That has more to do with the way we played with Collins on the pitch, rather than Collins. He’s not Moore but we were bloody awful for over an hour

Harris is not a lone striker.

What a City career he has had...one game, two goals. It beats Billy Woof's one game, one goal ion 1982/83.

I suppose we don't know why, could be any reason. Maybe he wanted too much money and MM decided not to bother, or maybe MM has somebody line dup to take his place even though he said we'd have no more signings. It's hard to see though where Watkins would get a game, as Murphy, Vaulks and Colwill have barely been seen so far this season. Better to cover elsewhere in the team.

Horrific decision. Mick the d*ck at it again, always protecting his mates. This club doesn't care about young players progressing and never will.

He wasn't good in a struggling last year for flips sake.

The more Mark Harris the better

    As a Cardiff City player?

This board is off its nut at times. Crikey.

It’s a strange old thing. On Tuesday 10th August, he’s announced as our player until the end of August and by the following Tuesday, the club let it be known that he won’t be staying.
Mark Harris’ possible loan moves not coming to fruition were mentioned as a factor, but isn’t Watkins more of a midfielder?

    Under contract.

He signed for us - a Cardiff City player.

    No longer just a trialist.

Maybe the shortest contract ever - but Marley is/was a Bluebird!

    Good luck to him.

Has anyone seen his scoring record?
    It's actually garbage.
He got lucky for us and I cant believe the club gave him a chance to be honest.
He's not good enough for division 4

Appreciate the facts mate but that's just black and white shit.. He wasn't a Cardiff player. Anyway not worth getting into it about something so trivial.
