Here is a video of what happened this day.

And yeah - you are spot on. The main event is the last 30 seconds of this CCTV clip ..

I don’t think we will see days like that ever again now, about 300 millwall drinking on mill lane being guarded by the police with about 500-700 cardiff just hanging nearby. Crazy really

I think it was time flies in the ice rink, but I may be mistaken

He'd been winding everyone up on here how Millwall were coming and gonna take the Canton stand!
The only thing millwall fans took that day was a load of sore heads back to bermondsey

One bloke was bandaged up like Christopher Lee in The Mummy , sitting outside the grandstand , smoking a fag , tomato sauce all over him

The fag was a nice touch

He had escaped from hell but he still kept his dignity

That era was one to be forgotten. It was a disgusting time in our history bringing nothing but the club and the individuals concerned into total disrepute. Thank goodness our fans are better behaved now.

Don’t want to. Happy to go to Canton today, have a pint with my lad and avoid any of that nonsense. Don’t want him subjected to it either.

Almost got nasty at Blackpool last weekend.
    It’s not totally gone away

CCTV etc, jail stretches , as put an end to it. 90% of football hooligans of the 80s and 90s would want no part of an even numbered punch up in a field with those Russian loonies.
