Sadly I strongly suspect he won't be the last either.
Love Dennis Law, a class act on and off the pitch.

It's not encouraging for current players such as Morrison, Moore and Any Carroll.

Some people's brains start dying, which is what dementia is , earlier than others, it's just the way it is

Sir Tom was over 100 and in fine form to a right old age

Some people get it in their forties and fifties

I do suppose that Denis Law, who was a fantastic header of the ball, experienced, at least in his early career, the old heavy leather laced up ball. That couldn’t have helped. Bit of a worry for women named Carol though.

Did Sir Tom head a wet heavy leather ball regularly during his career?

Both my parents have had dementia , my mum is dying from it , my dad died from it .

There are lots of causes of this awful disease , there is a lot of discussion at the moment about the tragic deaths of football and rugby players from dementia , some of whom may have developed the disease from brain trauma . Many have not .

Our very own Brian Clarke died from dementia , I do not know if heading the ball was the cause of his death .
