Motorsport F1 Belgian GP Spa Today

There've been some memorable for all the wrong reasons races in F1 over the many decades and today didn't disappoint. A farce at Spa. How was that a race and how on earth could a winner be declared?

My favorite circuit and sure, rain is a big part of Spa (I'm thinking some memorable Schmacher moments here) and I'm not suggesting it was safe for the drivers/marshals/anyone trackside. Shame for the fans. I pity anyone camping.

Not sure how I feel about a Champion this year what with Canada canceled and Japan, two races at the RBR in Austria etc.

All a bit meh.

But fear not. As a fitting substitute for today and for anyone who's never seen Sidecar Motorcross then you're in for treat (!). I lasted about 6mins in of this 28min video shot on someone's iPhone (or possibly, Nigel from accounts with an old Sony Handycam). Enjoy.
