This one could be the most interesting in years.
Some of our young prospects would have had a decent amount of game time so we will know a little more about them and if they can progress and cut it at this level.
I'm hoping this season the club has just pressed the reset button to clear out some of the high earners and players like Bamba and Bennett.
Quite a few first team players out of contract and a few out on loan will be due to come back.
By the summer transfer window we could be needing six or seven new players or more in my opinion.
Will we part ways with Mick and get a younger more modern thinking manager and give him decent funds to overall the squad?
Or will we still have Mick with little backing doing his wheeling and dealing?
I don't expect the club to throw silly money away like in the past nor do i want them to but i feel if we are to progress as a club we needed this season's clear out and tightening of the purse strings to maybe start fresh next summer..
Time will tell
