Knowing my luck, I'd end up next to him.

    Circa 1993, Popular Bank.

Dai (to Damon Searle) "Damon, Damon, Damon, Damon"... Relentless.

    Searle looks up

Dai "don't you wanna win this game or what?"

    Searle looks away

Dai (for the next 10 minutes) "Damon, Damon, Damon, Damon"... Relentless.

    Searle looks up

Dai "I've posed a question, I demand an answer"

Searle "**** off dai, give it a rest"

    🤣🤣🤣

What happens with sponsoring a shirt? Is Dai Hunts name on Keiffers short somewhere?

I'm sure there was a post on here a few years back, where Dai was actually banned for one match for yelling abuse at a City player in the car park pre-match. I think it might have been Tom Heaton?? Dai turned up for the next home game and was refused entry by the stewards. Allegedly he was seen walking away from the ground in tears. He hasn't learnt his less by the look of things...

I came across this a while ago on YouTube:

Oh gawd! I remember that guy. About 30 years ago he used to stand on the Bob Bank roughly under the TV gantry shouting abuse at the players. He was so weird the people around him, including me, cowered in embarrassment at his antics. I'm amazed he hasn't been banned let alone given a platform by the club to amuse the players prior to kick off.

The only difference now is that he is in the Canton. Never goes to away matches though. Maybe he's been banned from them....don't know.

I found sitting behind him for a season that people would laugh at him when he came out with his insane rants and barracking of players. Sadly this would spur him on, Dai thinking that people were laughing along with him. He does, I think, play to "the gallery" a bit I feel.

    Can you imagine

I don't agree with his racist comments, and don't believe autism has much to do with it either, but every community seems to have this sort of "character" in some shape or form.
