That would have been impressive….and probably earned him a booking at least

First 15 minutes not too bad but after that.....one word describes.....pityful.

Re: NOTTINGHAM FOREST v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Moore needs to come on straight away 2nd half and Colwill. Mick will wait until 70 mins or for Forest to be 3 up. Afwul watch 2 really poor teams.

Re: NOTTINGHAM FOREST v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

    It's not a great game.

Worrying how a fairly ordinary ball slipped down the side of our defence becomes dangerous simply due to our lack of pace.

The team put out there is baffling for me.
Kieffer Moore has had a two week rest.

Cardiff player headlocked in the box and there were 2 handball incidents during that last ping ponging in the final minute. Neither of these were mentioned in commentary.

My other observation is that Collins is painfully slow. Even an unfit Keiffer Moore must be better surely.

Yes and I don’t understand why. Phillips not done a huge amount wrong over last few weeks but I think Smithies is one of the best in the division

Re: NOTTINGHAM FOREST v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

First 45 I’ve seen this season and it doesn’t look like I’ve missed anything.

Nothing to offer any excitement or enthusiasm. Looks like we’re playing for long throws and corners.

Why the hell am I addicted to this?

Not just sprint speed slow. Turning. Moving.

Everything is like in slow motion

Yes it was, then he failed to get anywhere near the runner before trying to repair the damage with a despairing non-effective block.

    We look awful today.

Re: NOTTINGHAM FOREST v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Should change to 442 and bring on Moore and Colwill.
We are showing nothing going forward. Need some invention.

Re: NOTTINGHAM FOREST v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

We really are anti-football. The best bit of defending Morrison has done in the first-half was to block one of OUR shots in THEIR penalty box!
Is Vaulks really a footballer, he seldom has the ball at his feet and does nothing constructive?
Nelson, a League One player at best. Bagan cannot deliver a ball - I could go on...
    It's so depressing!

We havent got wide players to go 442.

I am boring in my consistently in saying we have, without Giles, zero pace or flair.

Mick has stripped it ALL out.

And it's not just quickness in attack, it's quickness in defending, decisions and all around the pitch.

As for your suggestion, the problem with 442 means we would need to play with wingers..... We don't have any!!! Mick has even removed his ability to change formation as we don't have wide players.

    Exactly.

It's criminal really how slow we are

Is Evans a winger on the bench? Never seen him play

Fully agree, a cushion header to Ng was the best option and not yet another aimless header to the waiting opposition.

Yet another conceded from a cut back to the penalty spot.

What do the coaches do during training?

Re: NOTTINGHAM FOREST v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Same again. Sol says hed have brought Kiefer on now.

Re: NOTTINGHAM FOREST v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Too deep, too predictable, too slow.

Very perceptive Sol. Fancy a job as manager?

Re: NOTTINGHAM FOREST v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Time after time, Bowen/Pack look to receive the ball off the defence and each time it goes back for Philips to hoof. Awful.

Re: NOTTINGHAM FOREST v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Harris is doing well with no service. I think thats the only positive. I think weve coached all the ability out of Perry Ng.
