Just took a quick look over on planet slums and many think it's only a matter of time before they give someone a stuffing going by today's performance

No, just like a jigsaw puzzle your strikers are going to pieces in the box.

Re: Great start to the season for the jacks

Personally I think unless some of our youngsters step up, the Jacks will finish well ahead of us.

We have the lowest passing success, lowest dribbling and lowest movement stats in the league.

That will catch up with us as teams mitigate our set pieces and double up on our only quick player in the team, Giles - who could be recalled in January

Of course I am praying that the youngsters step up and the likes of Evans, Colwill, Harris and Zimba get more game time which will add more energy and guile into the team, but it is a big ask. Also I get the feeling Mick would still rather start with 10 defensive players and one striker on the pitch, relegating the youngsters to the bench.

As for the Jacks, while they have a much smaller pool of quality players than in recent years, reluctantly I would say that they still have much more pace and creativity than we do.

They look all fur coat and no knickers for me.
I can't see who is going to get them goals.

Quite easy to argue that ever team in the league has more pace and creativity that we do 🤣 whether that automatically translates to winning football matches is the issue.

Their manager has a great track record possession wise but limited success on the pitch. "The Swansea way" may well be their downfall if they're not careful.

I said the other week that if we have any success this season it will be because we 'bludgeon' our way to success... it won't be delicate, nice, pretty or attractive.. but I just don't see us being able to compete.

As for the Jacks I suppose it depends if they don't get out of the rut quickly enough.

I wonder what the record is for most 0-0 draws in a season is?

Surely the Swansea fans aren’t bothered about results or league position? With over 700 passes and 70% possession yesterday Im sure they were celebrating long into the night

Sold too many players and it's coming home to roost.

Teams have been trying to mitigate our aerial threat for years.
It's no secret what we do but stopping it us another matter.
Forest couldn't get anywhere near us in the air today.
